The middle-man.  It’s not someone you think of fondly and generally a ‘middle-man’ is perceived as costing you more money for very little in return.

And brokers are sales people.  We receive commission from the insurance company we arrange the insurance with.  The more insurance you buy, the more it benefits us. 

But that doesn’t mean that we are out for ourselves at the expense of our clients.  Quite the opposite in fact, we work for our clients.  As a client you will need to weigh the advice and service you are receiving from us against your needs.

 

Bringing Some Good to your Insurance Shopping Experience

A good broker will add a lot of benefits to your insurance buying process:

 

1. The best price for the needs you care about

This doesn’t necessarily mean the lowest price or the cheapest price but it does mean that after speaking with a good broker about your concerns, how much you can afford, and what you want we can find the best product at the best price for your needs.

You can’t get that with a direct insurer, you might be able to get a cheap price but what corners of your concerns do you have to cut to get it?

 

2. Less hassle

Not only do we do the shopping for you, but a good broker will help you compare policies.

We can take a number of insurance policies/quotes and break it down for you; highlighting any gaps you may have or are likely to experience.

For example you may have 3 quotes and the pricing might be similar but a good broker can show you how each of the covers differ.  That way when you part with your money it’s for something that you understand and something that will pay out on a claim as you’d expect.

And if anything changes about your situation, such as moving home, buying or selling a new car, or making an addition to your home or business all you have to do is call us and we can make sure your cover continues to protect you as you would like.

 

3. Peace of mind

A good broker is very good at cross checking policies and also very good at educating you about likely claims scenarios. 

We are also experienced at maximizing your payment under a claim.  We negotiate with insurers on behalf of our clients every day; we know the policies inside and out and have the expertise to negotiate the best settlement for you.

 

 

When you sit down with a broker it’s about finding the right solution for you, and then helping you when you do need to make a claim.
