Rothbury Insurance Brokers, the largest New Zealand owned insurance broking firm acquired GKA Insurances in August 2009.

The acquisition of GKA means the insurance scheme is now owned by Rothbury. The scheme will be operated in partnership with NZMCA and will form part of the overall Rothbury Group. The NZMCA and Rothbury have committed to re-branding GKA Insurances to Covi Insurance.  Please note it is still business as usual for existing GKA policy owners your details will automatically be transferred to Covi. 

The insurance scheme was designed exclusively to provide the best cover for campervan and caravan owners and is the only insurance recommended by the New Zealand Motor Caravan Association (NZMCA). The scheme now covers Motorhomes, Caravans, the rapidly expanding 5th Wheeler market and Slide On Campers.

Over 9,000 NZMCA members currently insure their Campervans with Covi.  The scheme provides many benefits not available in standard policies, furthermore it is underwritten by Lumley General Insurance, one of New Zealand's largest motor insurers who provide a wealth of experience and security to our clients.
