Douw started his insurance career and joined Rothbury in 2025 as a Claims Case Manager at Covi insurance. Specialising in insurance solutions for high-value domestic clients, he supports clients with their homes, contents, vehicles, and lifestyle assets. Douw is passionate about building strong relationships and delivering positive client outcomes, combining excellent customer service and communication skills with a keen attention to detail. He enjoys getting to know clients, helping them navigate their insurance needs, and continuing to expand his industry knowledge.

Outside of work, Douw enjoys playing golf, going to the gym, and maintaining an active lifestyle. He loves living in an area where there is always something to do, from beaches and golf courses to restaurants, events, and outdoor adventures. A member of Windross Farm Golf Club, he enjoys participating in local club events and competitions. An accomplished athlete, Douw has also represented New Zealand on the international stage, competing in athletics at the World U20 Championships in Lima, Peru.
