Hugh began his insurance journey with Rothbury in 2025. With a diverse background spanning farming, policing, and owning businesses such as an ice cream shop, CrossFit gym, and pressure washing company, he brings a wealth of experience and adaptability to the role, picking things up quickly and learning fast.

Outside of work, Hugh enjoys exploring Northland’s beaches with his family and supporting his kids’ sports teams. He loves Northland for its easy access to stunning coastlines. His varied experience also includes work in forestry, demolition, private military, and home-kill butchery.
