Sam began his insurance journey with Rothbury in 2024. With a primary focus on Domestic clients, Sam is known for his creative and lateral thinking. He has a genuine interest in learning about all aspects of the insurance industry and enjoys meeting new people, building connections, and helping others find the right solutions. He holds a Level 5 Certificate in General Insurance and has a Conjoint Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Commerce, majoring in Human Resources and Psychology, with minors in Accounting and Education.

Outside of work, Sam is passionate about football and plays three times a week. As a devoted Liverpool supporter, he enjoys following the club closely and regularly watches their matches whenever he can. Having previously lived and studied in Christchurch, he returned to Auckland to be near friends, family, and his childhood football club. Sam loves giving back by coaching young players and is currently pursuing a youth football qualification to further develop his coaching skills.
