Shaun joined the insurance industry in 1981 and started with Rothbury in 2021. He has experience in both Broking and Underwriting and has worked in New Zealand, Australia, Fiji and the UK. He will primarily work with Corporate clients. Shaun’s goal is to ensure that his clients understand the cover that they are purchasing through offering proactive service and advice.

Shaun brings extensive expertise in professional liability insurance, with a strong ability to identify and manage complex risks. His in-depth understanding of insurer and reinsurer requirements allows him to negotiate market-leading coverage and deliver the best outcomes for clients.

Shaun unwinds with his family seeking out the new. Making sure he maintains his work life balance and making his family a priority is exceptionally important to him. Having worked around the world he is always drawn back to Auckland which, for Shaun holds many opportunities for relaxation and adventure alike. Shaun is a proud supporter of his daughter’s dancing and other school events. He is looking forward to some overseas travel again with his family – hopefully soon!
