Collection and Use of Personal Information 

Personal Information means information about a living identifiable individual and may include: 

• Name, address, date of birth and contact details
• Work history and qualifications
• Citizenship, visa or residency status
• Results from pre-employment checks (e.g., background or reference checks)
• criminal history and credit history checks
• Any other information you provide in connection with your application. 

We collect personal information in different ways which may include: 

1. Directly from you via our website (including online forms), in person, telephone, in writing or email.
2. Indirectly from third parties provided by you such as referees, Ministry of Justice (criminal checks) and (Centrix Credit Bureau of New Zealand (credit checks). 

We collect personal information when you apply for a role, participate in recruitment processes and provide your resumé or register on our careers website. We use your personal information to: 

• Assess your suitability for the role applied for or future opportunities
• Verify qualifications and work history
• Conduct reference or background checks

• Keep your information on file for future roles, if you agree 

If you are offered and accept a role, this information may form part of your employee file. 

If we do not receive the information that we need in relation to our recruitment process then we may be unable to offer you employment.
